A luxury real estate company needs a luxury logo to enhance their brand

The Brief

Hanson Estates, a luxury real estate company based in London and Dubai, needed a logo that reflected their brand and didn’t look out of place within the other brands associated with their target demographic. More specifically, luxury car brands such as Lamborghini were referenced.

The Process

Initially, there were several discussions about the brand in general, where they saw themselves within the market, and where they wanted to be. The word “luxury” was always at the forefront of the discussions – luxury cars, luxury brands, etc. – so I set about researching these brands for inspiration. The designs I did that were inspired by luxury car badges were the favourites, so I developed these ideas, carefully choosing fonts that enhanced the brand, and finally looking at colours which were timelessly associated with opulence. The process itself was one of the most enjoyable for me, as my clients had a very clear vision and were able to articulate them clearly to me.

The Results

The end result is one of my favourite logos I’ve ever designed. It demonstrated to me how important it is for the client to know their own brand and be able to articulate that to me in the process. It is very much a collaborative process with a mutual goal and I feel like the finished logo speaks for itself.
